“Coming into Hindi class, I could understand the language and was an avid Bollywood watcher, but I had little knowledge of the script, sentence structure, historical roots, or linguistic development of Hindi. Ashwini Ji was incredibly patient as I worked to catch up, and the class became the highlight of my short time in Oxford.
